At the moment we are learning a new soca set. We have been invited to take part in the London New Year’s Day Parade on 1st Jan 2018, but before then we are also hoping to get on the road at Notting Hill Carnival 2017. These are some of the tracks we are currently learning steelpan arrangements of. It really helps to learn the songs inside out, so you know every beat every drop every lyric – that makes it so much easier to learn to play the tune on a steelpan.
